A case of myocardial infarction as a complication of nephrotic syndrome.

Abstract

|
A case of ischemic heart disease as a complication of nephrotic syndrome, is resented with a literature review. The patient, 40 year old male farmer, hospitalized twice to this hospital because of nephrotic syndrome of uncertain origin, one and half a year. During hospitalization, disappearance of generalized edema and decrement of plasma cholesterol level with prednisolone treatment occurred. When prolonged administration of prednisolone discontinued, reappearance of generalized edema with complicated myocardial infarction occurred.
